Jack Tauren, age 7, launches strong from the podium at the Weyburn invitational swim meet on Saturday. Tauren was competing in the 25 meter backstroke event for boys aged 10 and under. Twenty-three boys competed in this event and 10 of them were from the Weyburn Silver Seals. Others came from clubs in Regina, Estevan, Swift Current, Gravelbourg, Oxbow, Assiniboia and Melville.
