Weyburn's own Derrick Pouliot was named to the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) Memorial Cup Tournament's all-star team after the Portland Winterhawks fell to the Halifax Mooseheads in the championship game on May 26.
The 6'0" defenseman and NHL Pittsburgh Penguins draft prospect finished the tournament with seven points in five games, which led all defensemen.
