Connor LaFoy of the Weyburn Junior High strains to clear the bar, as he tries to exceed his record-setting height of 1.71 metres in the high jump event at the regional track meet, held on Wednesday at the Comp track field. LaFoy won first and set a record for the midget boys category with his jump of 1.71 metres. Other events which were part of the day-long event included races, javelin, discus, shotput, long jump and triple jump.
