Twenty three members of the Weyburn Silver Seals swim club travelled to Assiniboia on July 21.
Medal winners were: 7-8 year-old girls: McKinley Thomas-Perry - bronze medal; 7-8 year-old boys: Tre Thompson - silver medal; 11-12 year-old boys: Tyler Grieve - gold medal; 15-17 year-old girls - Tana Wilkins - gold medal.
Other swimmers who attended were Olivia Barber, Emma Bitz, Madeline Bocian, Olivia Bocian, Faith Bratrud, Hannah Bratrud, Caitlin Davis, Marissa Davis, Rumina Edgerton, Ruslan Edgerton, Hannah Grieve, Bransyn Lyon, Payton Oberg, Kiera Pittman, Reece Pittman, Devin Thomas-Perry, Zoe Thompson and Kara Zelyck.
On July 22, 13 members travelled to Swift Current. Medal recipients were: 7-8 year-old boys: Bransyn Lyon - bronze medal and 15-17 year-old boys: Dakken Bedore - gold medal.
Other swimmers who attended were Emma Bitz, Khloe Bedore, Madeline Bocian, Olivia Bocian, Caitlin Davis, Marissa Davis, Rumina Edgerton, Ruslan Edgerton, Bransyn Lyon, Devin Thomas-Perry and McKinley Thomas-Perry.
Five members of the Weyburn Silver Seals have qualified for the Saskatchewan Summer Games taking place in Meadow Lake. They are Dakken Bedore, Tyler Grieve, Olivia Bocian, Payton Oberg and Caitlin Davis.
