Cole Fonstad scored four goals, including a natural hat trick, to lead the Estevan TS&M Bruins to a 6-3 win over the Saskatoon Bandits on Saturday.

The victory came one night after the Bruins were shut out 6-0 by the Prairie Storm. Both games were played at Affinity Place.

The Bruins (5-3-2) sit in fifth place in the South Division of the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League.

On Saturday, the Bruins fell behind 3-1 halfway through the game but scored five unanswered goals to capture the two points.

Goals by Trent Keewatin and Kaden Boser put the Bandits ahead 2-0 halfway through the first period. Fonstad scored his first of the night less than three minutes later.

The Bandits restored their two-goal lead 13 minutes into the second period on a goal by Rylan Nivon, but that was all for them.

Josh Skjonsby scored for Estevan 51 seconds later, and Fonstad tied the game 49 seconds after that, making it 3-3 after two periods.

Fonstad completed the hat trick less than four minutes into the third period and scored his fourth on a power play halfway through the frame.

Hayden Cutler added another insurance marker at the 12:06 mark.

Jeremy Dumaine backstopped the Bruins to the win.

Friday's game wasn't nearly as kind to the Bruins, as they were held off the scoresheet.

Colum McGauley opened the scoring for the Storm less than six minutes into the game, and Devan Harrison scored a power play marker at the 12:30 point to put the visitors ahead 2-0 after one.

Tyson Manz potted another power play goal four minutes into the second, followed by an Austen Flaman tally less than three minutes later.

Taylor Schmidt's first of two goals on the day at 10:50 of the period made it 5-0 for the Storm.

Schmidt scored again with nine minutes left in the third.

Ethan Veroba started the game for the Bruins, but gave way to Dumaine in the third period.

The Bruins have two more games at home this weekend. They host the Regina Pat Blues on Saturday at 5:15 p.m. and the North East Wolfpack on Sunday at 2:15 p.m. Both games are at Affinity Place.
