The Weyburn Comp Eagles senior girls volleyball team took on Balgonie’s Greenall Griffins Sr. B team in the first game of their home tournament on Friday evening, and beat them in two sets.
This series of photos shows how strong the home team was at the net, making some strong spikes during the games.
The girls came away with wins of 25-14 and 25-20. The Eagles had been beat in the finals of their home tournament by the Griffins the previous weekend, also held in the Comp’s Eagle gym.
The other teams that are taking part in the weekend tournament are Riffel High School, Moose Jaw Central Cyclones, Esterhazy Warriors, Leboldus Golden Suns and the Nipawin Bears.
