The Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins hockey club has announced they have relieved head coach and general manager Karry Biette of his duties. Bruins' president Jeff Pierson asked Biette for his resignation on Monday morning.

The Estevan based Trent's Tire curling team consisting of skip Colby Fessler, third Karlee Fessler, second Layne Hawrylak, and lead Taylor Marcotte competed in the Regina Youth Junior Boys/Mixed 17 and under Bonspiel Dec. 27-30, 2010.

The Highway 39 rivalry is alive and well. After three heated battles in as many days, the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins and Weyburn Red Wings made it very clear that they do not like each other.
