Chad Leslie spent one season as a player with the Estevan Bruins and was part of the organization after his playing days were finished:

The next action for the Eagles will be Saturday, Sept. 17 as they travel to Moose Jaw to play Central at 1 p.m.

The Battlefords North Stars, Humboldt Broncos, Kindersley Klippers, La Ronge Ice Wolves, Melfort Mustangs, Melville Millionaires, Nipawin Hawks and Notre Dame Hounds start the 2022-23 Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League season on Sept. 16.

The Estevan Bruins will have a couple of familiar faces in goal when they start the 2022-23 regular season Friday night at Affinity Place against the Yorkton Terriers. 

As for the rest of the NLL draft, late in the second round, Saskatchewan selected Isaac Ngyou 40th overall. The left-shot defenseman played this past season with Langley Jr. A, and put up two goals and five assists in 13 games, and is also playing up with the Langley Sr. A in the 2022 Mann Cup from September 8-18th.

Bedard scored two goals in a Regina Pats victory, and left Estevan impressed with the city.

The Bruins will start the 2022-23 season Friday night when they host the Yorkton Terriers, starting at 7 p.m. The club that won the league title this past season will be recognized before the game.
