It was another busy weekend for teams in Estevan Minor Football.

The Estevan Apex U18 AA Bruins and the Estevan TS&M U15 AA Bruins played their first games of the season on the weekend:

ESTEVAN - The Estevan Bruins have been rewarded for their excellent start to the season. The Bruins are ranked second overall in the country in the first Canadian Junior Hockey League rankings of the 2021-22 season.

The Estevan U18 AAA Bears beat the Tisdale Trojans 7-1 on Sunday afternoon.

The Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs played Moose Jaw Vanier Vikings to a tie on Friday night.

Weyburn's home opener was on Saturday night, after their first two league games with Melville were cancelled due to COVID

The Estevan Trap Shooting Club held multiple competitions recently.

The Weyburn Comp Eagles football team doubled up the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones by a score of 16-8, in a home game hosted on Saturday afternoon at Darold Kot Field. The Eagles led 9-0 at the half on a field goal and six points for a touchdown run by the quarterback Ben Manning.
