Estevan Minor Baseball (EMB) recognized one of its long-time volunteers Friday.

After a two-year absence, the annual Figgy Messer Price Cup made its return to the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course last weekend.

The Estevan Chamber of Commerce hosted a successful Networking on the Green golf tournament on Thursday afternoon at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course. A total of 80 golfers entered.

Jennette Shroeder recorded a hole in one on the second hole at the White Bear Golf Course recently. The feat was witnessed by Marvin Schroeder, Jeremy Schroeder and Chas.

Motocross enthusiasts from across the region gathered in Carlyle last weekend for the first round of the South Corner Racing Circuit. The South Corner Racing Circuit is a motocross series in southern Saskatchewan.

Chaelynn Boutin may only be in her early 30s, but she’s already been golfing for more than 20 years. The Carlyle resident first picked up a set of golf clubs around age ten and hasn’t really put them down since.

A talented young softball player from southeast Saskatchewan has committed to play at a higher level for the 2021-22 school year. Morgan Walter, a centrefielder and middle infielder, will play for the McCook Community College Indians in McCook, Neb.

Moose Mountain Soccer Club (MMSC) was presented a cheque on July 15 for $5,000 by Living Sky Sports and the Saskatchewan Soccer Association.

The Estevan Minor Baseball Association is getting ready to welcome some talented young athletes to the community. The association will host the provincial U13 AA tournament from July 23-25 at Cactus Park.
