All Reserve Golf Event, pays out $10000 hole in one
The White Bear Golf Course was host to the first All Reserve Golf Event, a Texas Scramble format with 32 teams competing. The event was organized by Brett Standingready and Shawna Maxay, and was fully booked within 23 hours of the call for entries.

The Estevan Speedway held their two-day Dirt Wars racing event over the weekend, and a number of Weyburn area drivers placed in the various feature races. Round 1 was held on Saturday, starting with the IMCA hobby stock races.

Golf champions crowned at event
The Golf Kenosee Ladies Club held their annual golf tournament Aug. 7, with 26 teams and 104 women competing in the four-flight event. As each team completed their round, they enjoyed a delicious roast beef dinner served by Club 19.
