The Weyburn Golf Course is turning a century old next year, and to help prepare for this milestone anniversary, the club is launching a contest for the design of a new, special centennial logo.

Alumni from the Montreal Canadiens will be skating alongside some local people in a fundraiser in February. Canadiens alumni will skate with and against local players, a team of which will be determined later, on Feb. 24, 2019.

A pair of Penta Completions Estevan Minor Football teams played games on the weekend and ironed out who they’ll be playing in their playoff games.

The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins added a familiar name to the roster Tuesday. The team added former Western Hockey League player Tristyn DeRoose, 19, who was recently released by the Moose Jaw Warriors.
