The Estevan Golden Eels Swim Club had themselves a great weekend at a pair of meets in southern Saskatchewan last weekend.

Estevan Elite lived up to their name as the U12 girls won B provincials this weekend in Regina.

The most fun four people can have on a golf course is a Texas Scramble event, but the RBC PGA Saskatchewan event earlier this month at TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course was a little bit different than most.

It was once again another busy weekend for the Estevan Golden Eels Swim Club as they travelled to a pair of places and gathered up some more medals.

The Saskatchewan Baseball Association provincial championship schedules have been announced for some of the Estevan and area baseball teams. The Estevan KPC Sluggers will be one of 17 teams at White City for the AAA championship.

The Southeast Performance Pump Twins won a couple more games on the road last weekend and seem to have found their stride against some of the competition in the midget AAA Saskatchewan Premier Baseball League.

Thunderbolts and lightning were very, very frightening but it was rain that washed out the Kupper Chevrolet Dakota Classic Modified Tour stop at the Estevan Motor Speedway Monday night.

They may not have been in the A-side of the tournament but both of Estevan’s indoor lacrosse teams were able to win a few games and play well at the tournament.
