It was another successful day for Team South East at the 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games in Estevan, as the region’s athletes enjoyed success in swimming and in canoe-kayak.

A new batch of athletes began their competitions at the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games on Thursday.

Athletes in the 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games ran, jumped, threw and demonstrated their sheer athletic ability at the Chamney Running Track and Panteluk Athletic Field, during the athletics portion of the Games, from Monday to Wednesday.

They approached the podium two by two late Tuesday afternoon as a crowd of about 150 spectators applauded tremendous efforts put into the team-played triathlons for two age groupings in the Saskatchewan Summer Games.

Playing in the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games girls soccer competition didn’t produce the hoped results for Team North, but it did allow the club an opportunity to know what they need to reach to.
