The Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs junior girls’ volleyball team claimed a third-place finish at their home tournament on Saturday afternoon with a three-set victory over the Carnduff Tigers.

There are more than a few people in Estevan wishing for snow. These winter athletes want the white stuff to hurry up and blanket the earth, or at least the southeastern part of Saskatchewan, so they can get on their snowmobiles and ride.
