The North Dakota State Bison lost to the James Madison Dukes 27-17 in the Division 1 AA semifinals. The Bison didn’t play well in the game as North Dakota State trailed all game and were unable come back. Bison quarterback Easton Stick attempted 38 passes while completing 19 for 216 yards. This loss ends the Bison’s five-year championship run.
In the NFL, the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos 16-3 in a close game. With the win they have clinched the AFC East Division East title. The Pats record is 12-2 and their next game is against the New York Jets.

In the American Hockey League, the Ontario Reign got past the San Jose Barracuda 4-3 in overtime. The Reign’s record is 13-6-5 and they are in fourth place in the Western Conference.
As for the Western Hockey League, the Regina Pats split the home and home with the Moose Jaw Warriors over the weekend. The Pats record is 22-3-6 and they are in first place at the Christmas Break.
In the Ontario Hockey League, the Windsor Spitfires lost to the Nigeria Ice Dogs 4-3 in overtime. The Spitfires record is 21-6-4-1 and they are in second place in the West Division.
