It was the first sporting event at the new Mosaic Stadium, and the attendance for the game was 16,500, which was a new Canada West record. Rams quarterback Noah Picton attempted 42 passes while completing 29 for 370 yards, along with four touchdowns and two interceptions. The Rams record is 4-1 and their next game is against the Alberta Golden Bears.
In NCAA football, the No. 18 Florida Gators beat the Vanderbilt Commodores 13-6 in a close game. The Gators’ record is 4-1 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
