Review on the RUN

All the plans have been made, all the clues are ready … and I am ready to stage a murder in front of a live crowd.

All the plans have been made, all the clues are ready … and I am ready to stage a murder in front of a live crowd.
In case you are wondering what I might be plotting, don’t worry dear readers, since I refer to the upcoming Mardi Gras Gala for the Weyburn and District Hospital Foundation that will be held on Friday night at McKenna Hall.
And as you might already know, one of the fun events planned for the Mardi Gras Gala is a live-action Clue game, where someone will get murdered and the audience will have to try to determine the murderer from an assortment of characters.
In the past few weeks, as I have worked with the committee members of the Mardi Gras Gala to plan the game itself, and it has been a blast!
One of the benefits of being included in the planning of such a gala affair is receiving intimate knowledge of the many fun and interesting events that will be wrapped up in one evening.
I can’t wait to hear the Comp jazz band provide some tunes to start off the evening, the chance to enjoy some Mardi Gras-themed drinks, and the opportunity to dress up a little.
Then of course, add in the fact that the Weyburn Fire Brigade will be on hand during the evening, and DJ Richy Roy will provide a musical background for the rest of the evening. Plus the opportunity to play games of chance — such as the raffle tickets for the Canadian Diamond in the Ice.
All in all, it will be a great evening for murder, of suspense, mystery and intrigue. I hope everyone who wants to participate in the evening already have their ticket.
