We all know that not all surprises are pleasant; indeed, some are unpleasant and others can be downright tragic. In contrast to those, I want to share some of the lovely surprises I’ve experienced recently.

Cheers to Dr. Khalid Sheikh and the operating room nurses, and the nurses on the obstetrics/surgical unit at St. Joseph’s Hospital. They eased the nerves of a person undergoing surgery and the operation couldn’t have gone better.
