Estevan – If sky-high heavy oil price differentials remain, it could cost the province of Saskatchewan $500 million a year. That’s according to Premier Scott Moe, speaking to reporters in Estevan after a Saskatchewan Party regional meeting on Oct.

Estevan – With Crescent Point Energy Corp. at the top of the leaderboard nation-wide with 17 active drilling rigs, Saskatchewan drilling activity remained relatively flat on Oct. 17 with 49 active rigs. Manitoba had seven rigs on the go.

Saskatoon – The provincial New Democratic Party announced its strategy for a “clean energy transition” on Oct. 13, one that aims for a widely distributed system of very small power generation.
