WEYBURN – Police apprehended a man following a report of a theft at a downtown business on Aug. 28.
According to Weyburn Police Service, officers were called to a local business. When he was confronted, he fled the scene on foot.
A short time later, a responding officer located him walking along Highway 39 still in possession of the stolen property.
He was arrested without incident and released on conditions.
