Weyburn Review

Young Africans, a group of youths who were once members of the African Children's Choir, will be holding a concert in Weyburn at the Calvary Baptist Church on Friday, May 4, at 7 p.m.

Fundraising activities are being planned in order to save and preserve this old stone church at Heward, built in 1919.

Plans are in place to clean up the city of Weyburn this spring with the 56th annual Clean Up Campaign, which will be a residential campaign between the five areas of the city.

Residents of the RM of Brokenshell are continuing their efforts to save Trossachs Hall, with renovations work set to begin this summer if everything goes well.

We are deeply saddened with the passing of our brother, Derrell Raymond on April 14, 2012 at the age of 76 years after a long illness.

Rural high schools will hold their graduations during the month of May and June. Pangman School will hold their graduation on Friday, May 4 at the high school. Exercises start at 7 p.m.
