There are five new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Sept. 24, bringing the total to 1,835 reported cases. The new cases are located in the Saskatoon (2), Central West (1), Regina (1) and South Central (1) zones.

A new retail outlet, RONA Weyburn, was opened on Thursday morning with the cutting of a board in front of the main doors, completing 12 weeks of renovations.

While COVID-19 is on everyone’s mind right now, influenza season is just around the corner. In anticipation of this, the Ministry of Health has purchased 36.5 per cent more vaccine than last year to meet the anticipated increase in demand.
