Southeast College is taking the necessary steps in each of their campus locations to ensure continued safety of both students and staff.

Powerlifters from Weyburn had a great showing at the Canadian Powerlifting Union National Championships in Winnipeg over the March 7-8 weekend. There were seven competitors from Weyburn participating.

In partnership with the Weyburn Soccer Association, instructors from the Saskatchewan Soccer Association visited a majority of the elementary schools in Weyburn this past week.

A large karate tournament will be hosted by Vilcu’s Karate Klub on Saturday, March 28, at the Weyburn Comp’s Eagle gym.

Saskatchewan Ministry of Health’s Provincial Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab has confirmed Saskatchewan’s first presumptive case of COVID-19. The resident is in their 60s with recent travel to Egypt.

A gathering of knitters, crocheters and sewers met on Wednesday afternoon at the Weyburn Public Library, with a collection of knitted teddy bears and sanitary pads for the 10 th year in a row.
