REGINA - Average retail gasoline prices in Regina have fallen 1.0 c/L in the past week, averaging 131.17 c/L Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 82 gas outlets in Regina. This compares with the national average that has fallen 0.8 c/L in the last week to 134.17 c/L, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Regina during the past week, prices yesterday were 20.2 c/L lower than the same day one year ago and are 2.7 c/L lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 0.8 c/L during the last month and stands 24.1 c/L lower than this day one year ago.
According to GasBuddy historical data, gasoline prices on June 9 in Regina have ranged widely over the last five years:
151.41 c/L in 2024, 158.53 c/L in 2023, 204.56 c/L in 2022, 124.93 c/L in 2021 and 92.46 c/L in 2020.

“Average gas prices fell in nearly every Canadian province over the last week, with Alberta being the only exception,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. “The drop comes as refineries ramped up output and gasoline supplies improved, easing pressure on prices. Alberta’s slight increase was largely tied to regional market dynamics and oil price strength. While some areas may still see small fluctuations, this gentle downward trend is fairly typical as summer unfolds. If oil prices continue rising gradually, it could eventually reverse course, but for now, significant shifts at the pump don’t appear likely in the week ahead.”
