REGINA - Average retail gasoline prices in Regina have fallen 0.4 c/L in the past week, averaging 129.78 c/L Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 82 gas outlets in Regina. This compares with the national average that has increased 1.4 c/L in the last week to 136.18 c/L, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Areas near Regina and their current gas price climate:
Saskatoon- 133.77 c/L, down 0.3 c/L from last week's 134.02 c/L.
Saskatchewan- 132.75 c/L, flat  from last week's 132.88 c/L.
Winnipeg- 132.77 c/L, up 5.3 c/L from last week's 127.52 c/L.

“With oil prices seeing a modest uptick last week, average gasoline prices across Canada also rose, with nearly all provinces recording increases,” said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.

“As we near the halfway point of the summer driving season, gasoline inventories remain slightly below seasonal norms, while diesel inventories are particularly tight—contributing to sustained pressure on diesel prices. If tariff concerns continue to grow, we could see downward pressure on oil due to fears of slower global economic growth. However, barring any major developments, Canadians should expect prices to remain near their current levels, especially as summer demand holds firm.”
