SOUTHWEST SASKATCHEWAN — Update: At 5:55 p.m. CST, the tornado warning has been cancelled.


At 5:34 p.m. CST, Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

Motion: Southeast at 30 km/h

This is a dangerous and potentially life-threatening situation.


Update: At 5:34 p.m. Central Standard Time Saturday, Environment Canada has updated a tornado warning for South Central and Southwestern Saskatchewan. Extra care and attention should be exercised. The following localities are included in the warning: Glentworth, Fir Mountain, Wood Mountain, Killdeer, Willow Bunch, St Victor, Rockglen, Fife Lake, Ponteix, Aneroid, Kincaid, Hazenmore, Mankota and Ferland. Environment Canada meteorologists are tracking a severe thunderstorm that is possibly producing a tornado. Damaging winds, large hail and locally intense rainfall are also possible.

  • R.M. of Mankota including Mankota and Ferland
  • R.M. of Waverley including Glentworth and Fir Mountain
