MOOSE JAW -- It was just under a month ago that the Moose Jaw Warriors added their newest crop of players through the Western Hockey League Prospects and U.S Priority Drafts.

Now, those players and a host of fellow up-and-coming future Warriors are getting their first taste of the team and the community.

Thirty players are currently taking part in the Holiday Inn Express Development Camp, which saw the first ice sessions take place on Friday afternoon at the Barkman Arena in Caronport.

Things kicked off Thursday with a tour of the team dressing room in Temple Gardens Centre and orientation meetings before things began in earnest on Friday morning with fitness testing.

From there, it was off to Caronport, where the players will take part in three on-ice sessions, the first of which took place on Friday afternoon followed by two sessions on Saturday at 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. All ice times are open to the public.
