The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian kicker Brian Garrity.

The five-foot-seven, 174-pound Garrity spent five collegiate seasons from 2020 through 2024 with the Western University Mustangs. The London, ON native made 98-of-121 career field-goal attempts, 81-percent, over his time with his hometown team.

In 2024, he went 25-of-30 for a career-best 83.3 percentage, including a five field goal effort to help Western register a season-opening 38-10 victory over the University Ottawa Gee Gees. In October, he received Western athlete-of-the-week honours after kicking four field goals, including two 48-yarders in a 21-10 victory over the University of Windsor Lancers. He was named an OUA first-team all-star last year and kicked a personal-best 49-yard field goal in 2022.
