November 1-6 is Yorkton Agriculture Week and residents are asked to think about the importance of farming to our local economy.
Partnering with the Yorkton Exhibition Association, the Yorkton Chamber of Commerce requested the designation stating, "the agriculture industry significantly impacts the economy of the City of Yorkton with over 60 businesses directly involved in servicing the farming and ranching community."
The week is also intended to coincide with the 22nd annual Harvest Showdown event which takes place from November 3-6 at the Yorkton Gallagher Centre grounds.
