In the Saturday, May 28 issue of The News Review Extra on Page 3A there appeared an article entitled, "Infamous musical ride slated for Melville Sunday."
It has been brought to our attention by several readers that the word "infamous" was not the proper word to use to describe the musical ride. The intent of the paper was not to disrespect the RCMP or the event, but rather to imply the musical ride is a very well known and renowned event, which is loved, respected and anticipated by members of the general public.
The News Review Extra apologizes for poor word choice and regrets any confusion or concern error may have caused.
