The City of Yorkton has announced it is presenting a Festival and Event Production Workshop on Saturday, March 10 at the Gallagher Centre. The workshop will be led by Marian Donnelly, CEO of Inner Circle Management and the Creative City Centre in Regina. The workshop is ideal for anyone involved in producing concerts, festivals, award shows, conferences, sporting events or other special events.

Donnelly is no stranger to Yorkton. She authored the Municipal Cultural Plan for the City of Yorkton in 2009. She was also part of the production team that brought concerts like Rush, The Stampeders and Max Webster to the Yorkton Agriplex in the 1970's. She's been producing concerts, festivals and other events across Canada since 1975, and has a wealth of experience to share with workshop participants.

The workshop will cover everything from logistical to technical, promotional to financial, and everything in between that might be required to make your events run as smoothly as possible.

The workshop registration fee is $50 per participant. Seating is limited to 20, so don't delay and get your registration in early!

If you are involved in any kind of event, this workshop will be extremely helpful.
