With numerous awards and accolades to his name, rising alternative country star Ridley Bent will be opening for Emerson Drive later this week in the city.
In 2008 and 2009 Bent was nominated for more than 20 awards. At the BCCMAs, he took home eight awards, including Fans Choice, Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist. In 2009 Bent won the 2009 Galaxie Rising Star Award at the Edmonton Folk Festival and in 2010 he was nominated for a CCMA for Roots Artist or Group of the Year.
