The Fox-FM Cruise Night, the first in a series of three major events, opened Yorkton's annual motorsports weekend at the Gallagher Centre Friday evening.
Ron Rimer, cohost of the Morning Adventure on Fox-FM, says Yorkton and the surrounding area is blessed with a number of great race cars. A lot of the exhibitors are racing their cars on Sunday at the Kam Busters Prairie Thunder Drags, Rimer reports. "It's a great chance to see race cars up close and personal," he suggests.
Following the stationary display, Drivers cruised their cars on Broadway Street in a moving display of vintage, current and competition vehicles.
