Under the artistic direction of Matthias Maute & Sophie Lanviére, Ensemble Caprice is renowned for its innovative interpretation of baroque music & has received national & international acclaim for more than twenty years. In Canada, they are invited regularly in most prestigious festivals & concert series across the country. Their CD, Gloria! Vivaldi’s Angels won Canada’s prestigious 2009 JUNO Award. It is Salsa Baroque (Analekta, 2010), the most popular of all their CDs, the program they will be bringing to your communities this season.
