Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has announced it will offer its customer support program to those affected by excessive moisture across parts of Saskatchewan, more specifically in the areas of Yorkton, Weyburn and Carlyle. Earlier this month, the program was offered to customers in Manitoba, where flooding and excessive moisture have challenged farm families.
"Agriculture matters, so standing by our customers through good times - and through challenging times - is very important to us," says Corinna Mitchell-Beaudin, FCC Vice-President, Prairie Operations. "We know that the start of this season hasn't been easy for many producers, and we want to let our customers know we're here to help them get through."
Last year, the program was offered to nearly 20,000 customers across the Prairies impacted by excessive moisture.
FCC customers are encouraged to contact their FCC Relationship Manager or the FCC Customer Service Centre at 1-888-332-3301 as soon as possible to discuss their individual situation and the options that are available to them.
