Looking ahead to the new golf season, the Deer Park Advisory Sub-committee made a number of fee recommendations to Yorkton City Council.
The following are the committee's recommendations for 2012 supported by the Community Development, Parks and Recreation Committee:
No increase in the Junior Season Pass fee.
A range of three to five per cent increases in most other season pass fees.
A decrease in the Family Season Pass fee from $1,800 to $1,700 to encourage families to golf.
The adult nine hole green fee will be increased from $25 to $26 while the adult 18 hole fee will increase from $39.50 to $40.
A three per cent increase in all other green fee categories.
An increase from three to six per cent in the Promotional; and Tournament categories.
The advisory sub-committee also recommended that anyone paying their 2012 season pass in full by January 31, 2012 be able to do so at the 2011 rate, a savings of $27 per adult season pass.
In addition the Win Your Season Pass Promotion, an incentive to promote purchasing a season pass prior to the opening of the new season will continue.
The new 2012 season fee schedule approved by Yorkton City Council shall be:
Season Pass - New Junior $100; Junior $160; Student $375; Young Adult $515; Adult $$1,025; New Adult $925; Spousal Rate $670; Restricted $825; Family $1,700; 9-Hole $625.
Green Fees - Adult 9-hole $26; Adult 18-hole $40; Junior 9-hole $15; Junior 18-hole $20.
Paks - Six for five package $204; 10 round 9-hole package $247; 10 round Combo Package $330.
Promos - Men's and Ladies' Night $19; Member Guest Promo $33; Stay and Play Promo $33; Adult Full Price Promos $40; Spring/Fall Specials $33; Twilight, Pre/Post Season $33.
Tournaments - 1 to 49 people (18 hole) $40; 50+ People (18 hole) $31. 9 hole evening promo $19; 18 hole Junior $15.
Trail Fees - Daily $15.50; Yearly $155.
Storage - Electric cart $155; Gas cart $105; Winter cart storage $110; Men's Locker $30.
