The Yorkton Harvest dropped an overtime nail biter 2-1 to the Saskatoon Contacts at the Schroh Arena Sunday afternoon. Tyler Tyndall opened the scoring for Saskatoon with the lone first period goal, a powerplay marker, midway through the period.

Following a scoreless second frame, Ryley Stefanyshyn tied the game at one late in the third period assisted by Devan Fafard and Roddy Sewap, to send the game into overtime.

Taylor Leier sewed up the win for the Contacts with an overtime marker with less than a minute remaining in the first overtime period.

The loss leaves the Harvest in eighth place in the Saskatchewan Midget AAA League with 19 points on the current season.
