A shorthanded goal by Justin Lund gave the Stars a 1-0 first period lead.

Dylan Fluter's goal sent the teams to the dressing rooms with a 2-0 lead for the Battle-fords after 20 minutes of play.

Roddy Sewap and Levi Cable each potted a solo marker in the second period.

Lund's second of the game left the Stars with a one goal edge after two periods.

Halloween saw a turn-around in Harvest fortunes. Despite being outshot 36-26 by the Stars, Yorkton came away with a 9-6 win in a see-saw, high scoring contest.

Dustin Minto opened the scoring for Yorkton midway through the first assisted by Josh Lees.

Jesse Gerbig tied the game for the Battlefords Stars.

Dustin Skiliter notched a single handed, short handed go-ahead goal to give Yorkton a 2-1 lead, before Cody Theil tied the game at two.

Tanner LeSann followed up with a solo effort of his own to put Yorkton on top again.

Olson even things up to end a hard fought first frame at three goals apiece.

Adam McCannell opened second period scoring early in the period assisted by Lesann.

Colby Daniels replied for the Stars to leave the teams knotted at four after two periods.

The Harvest exploded for five goals, a pair of powerplay markers and a pair of empty netters, to cruise to the 9-6 win.

Ben Johnstone opened Harvest third period scoring less than a minute into the period with a powerplay goal assisted by Sewap and Skiliter.

The Stars replied with a pair of goals, one each by Ryne Keller and Olson to give the Battlefords a brief one goal lead.

Kade Halabuza tied the game for Yorkton assisted by Skiliter and Rylan Badduke.

Lees notched the game winning goal assisted by Riley Stefanyshyn.

Skiliter capped Harvest scoring with a pair of empty net goals, both assisted by Sewap.
