On July 18, Langenburg RCMP received a complaint of male making a vehicle stop while posing as an undercover RCMP officer on highway #10 near the Manitoba border.
On July 19 at approximately 7:00 pm, RCMP from Langenburg arrested a male in the Calder district and charged him with Impersonating a Police Officer contrary to Section 130 of the Criminal Code. The arrest was made without incident. RCMP seized clothing and an imitation police crested notebook which had been used in a previous incident. A number of tips were received from the public that aided the police in locating and apprehending the subject. The man will be appearing at Esterhazy Provincial Court in early August.
