It's intrusive, abusive, invasive

In the article Mr. Mandryk mentions Dwayne Lingenfelter is "venturing into [Brad] Wall's rural strongholds." The Sask. Party has exposed itself to be politically vulnerable on at least one topic in rural Sask. The sore spot which Mandryk overlooks is that Justice Minister Don Morgan has promised Prime Minister Harper's federal govt. that the Govt. of Sask. will "accept a licensing regime" contained within the Liberals's Firearms Act of 1995.

Morgan and the Sask Party correctly recognize that gun owners think gun registration is bad. What they fail to understand is that the intrusive, abusive, and invasive process of forced gun owner licensing, which makes the mere possession of a firearm by responsible Canadians illegal, is worse.

Licensing is rights-infringing to rural folks. If Lingenfelter and his NDP were to stand firmly against all aspects of Harper's enforcement of this unjust Act, their "venturing into Wall's rural strongholds" may be rewarding.
