The Lady Saints faced the Lady Raiders in the semi final. Sacred Heart won the first set, lost the second and then won the third game to advance to the final against Melville, St. Henry's.

Unfortunately, despite their best effort, the Lady Saints lost the final to St. Henry's in two straight sets.

Junior Lady Saints coach Brian Chisholm was very pleased with the way the team played throughout the entire tournament. "They've shown tremendous improvement since the beginning of the season, and the team has really come together," he says.

The team is looking forward to competing in the district championships next weekend in Churchbridge and Langenburg where the girls will try to win a district gold medal for the third straight year. "We will need to beat some very good teams to reach that goal, but based on the way the team played this weekend, our goal is within reach," Chisholm closes.
