The Yorkton Junior Raiders, undefeated at home this season, hosted the visiting Regina Dinos at Kinsmen Century Field Saturday afternoon.

The Junior Raiders took a 14-0 lead into half time. One the first set of downs in the second half, Zack Kais ran the ball into the Dinos' end zone for a touchdown. The convert was good to make the score 21-0 early in the second half.

With two minutes left in the game, the Dinos scored a six point major. The convert was good to make the final score 21-7 for Yorkton.

Junior Raider Gridders head coach Lance Stillborn says the team worked hard all week and the boys came out ready to play.

Stillborn says he developed a different version of his offense after scouting the opposition. "Offensively we put in a new full house package which allows us to really use our big guys up front and run behind them," he reports.

He says the whole team did their part so well he couldn't single out an individual player. "Every-body seemed to be on the score sheet at one point or another," Stillborn insists.

The win gives the Junior Raiders a 2-2 record with a pair of wins at home and a pair of losses on the road. "Hopefully we can remain tough to play at home and steal a couple on the road," he closes.
