Library re-opens at temporary location

The Yorkton Public Library is now open and available for use at a new temporary location, following extensive damage after the Canada Day flood. As of August 26, patrons can access the library from inside the Parkland Mall.

As of August 26, patrons can access the library from inside the Parkland Mall.

Hours of operation will be: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturdays 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Public access computers will be available after September 1.

Library staff request that all items be returned to the temporary location. Anyone with items that were damaged in the flood, are asked to NOT return them. Please let the library know by phone or in person and staff will ensure that the items are taken off your record. All fines will be waived and no charges will be added for damaged items.
