The Sacred Heart High School (SHHS) senior badminton team recently competed at a tournament co-hosted by Preeceville and Sturgis to open their new season.
There were many excellent matches played and some serious competition from other schools at the tournament.
In Boys singles Colin Shewchuk lost in quarterfinals to some very strong players.
Rita Fetsch won a bronze medal was in girls singles.
Riana Skikewich and Zachary Todos claimed a silver medal in mixed doubles play.
Anthony Fetsch and Preston Liebrecht also took home a silver medal in boys doubles.
Brianna Ostafie and Eilish Stranaghan capped the SHHS performance winning a gold medal in girls doubles.
