Street Hockey
The First Annual Yorkton KidSport Street Hockey Tournament will be held Saturday, December 10 at SIGN on Broadway.
All funds generated will go to help Yorkton youth participate in sports.
The tournament will feature teams playing four on four.
The event will also offer a team lounge inside, cash bar, a silent auction, a 50/50 draw and team prizes including the best dressed team.
The entry fee of $250 per team guarantees each team a minimum of two games.
Lunch is included with the team registration.
Register a team early before the December 2 deadline as there will be a maximum of 12 teams accepted.

Prospects Game
Yorkton Terrier goalie Dawson McAuley, who earned his first SJHL win on Thursday night, defeating the Battlefords North Stars 5-4, in a shootout, recently backstopped Team West at the CJHL Prospects Game in St. Albert, Alberta.
"I didn't expect this at all, but it's a great honor to go. I didn't know a whole lot about it before getting selected, but I'm honored to be one of the four goalies in the country to go." McAuley was quoted.
McAuley, who has great size at 6'6" 210 lbs., knows he has a distinct advantage with his physical stature. "Some say bigger goalies aren't as quick, and that's something I have to overcome. I work at it a lot."
McAuley made 14 saves in the final game Sunday to combine with Matt Tomkins for a total of 25 saves to clinch the title for Team West.
