Following the painful lesson at the hands of the North Stars in their previous outing, the Yorkton Terriers set out for Nipawin determined not to repeat the same results. Instead the Terriers came away with a 4-2 win over the Hawks at the Centennial Arena in Nipawin.

Justin Lamontagne opened the scoring for Yorkton late in the first period assisted by Nathan Murray and Brenden Poncelet.

Robbie Ciolfi notched Yorkton's second goal, a second period powerplay marker, assisted by Keon Vick and Clarke Breitkreuz.

Zak Majkowski scored the go-ahead goal early in the third frame assisted by Kyle McLeod and Craig Eisenhut.

Brennan Tutt added the insurance marker midway through the period assisted by Nathan Murray.

Terrier Netminder Warren Shymko backstopped the Terriers turning aside 18 of 20m shots on goal.

Nipawin goals came from Tanner Dusyk and Jonathan Ceci.
