As the season draws ever closer, the Terriers held their annual Season Ticket blitz at the Gallagher Centre.
A couple of hours into the day, Terriers General Manager Don Chesney was very encouraged by the rush of Terrier fans.
"It's going really good. We've had a really steady stream of people from 7 (a.m.) until now (9:50 a.m.) for the breakfast getting their season tickets. It's good to see all the Terrier fans coming out and supporting us," Chesney points out.

While the Terriers are eager to hit the ice for the 2010-11 season, the flood on July 1 left the team with an off-ice issue, the availability of billets for the upcoming season.
Chesney says that finding about ten more billets is an issue that is at the forefront as the out-of-town players prepare to move in.
"That's the big thing. The July 1st has knocked us out of about eight or ten billets. Most of the hockey players stay in the people's basements and with the basements being flooded, the people still want billets but their basements aren't ready," Chesney details.
The General Manager adds that anyone is who willing to help should contact the Terriers office right away.
"You can call the Terrier office and talk to either Lisa, Trent Cassan or me, Don Chesney, 783-4077. If you could help us out, it would be great. We can give you the information about that," he says, "We need a place for these guys to live, that's the most important part of it right now is to find them a spot where they feel comfortable."
Accommodation issues aside, the Terriers brass is itching to get back to the ice after a long layoff. Chesney says that this year's team will feature some new prospects that will bring a lot of potential to the squad.
"We have a lot of kids coming in. A lot of young kids for two, three years down the road but more importantly, this year. We carded twelve guys so I'm hoping we can make a strong team and kind of build it from there," he points out.
After a summer of canvassing hockey camps all over Western Canada, Chesney and newly appointed Head Coach Trent Cassan are chomping at the bit to get going - especially after such an encouraging end to last season.
The Terriers first pre-season home game will be September 7 at 7:30 p.m. versus Melville. The regular season gets underway September 18 at the Farrell Agencies Arena versus the Weyburn Red Wings.
