Last Thursday afternoon at approximately 3 p.m., members of the Yorkton Rural RCMP Detachment were called regarding a report of an armed robbery at a financial institution in the community of Theodore.

A male subject had already fled the scene in a vehicle, the description unknown at the time. Reports from the scene indicate that a quantity of cash was stolen and a firearm was reported to have been involved in the robbery. All employees inside the financial institution, now identified as the Credit Union, that had been working at the time of the incident were not injured.

On Monday, police released new details.

RCMP are now looking for a male, approximately 5' 7" with a slender build, possibly Caucasian. He was dressed in blue jeans, black/white canvas deck style shoes, a white long sleeve, collared button up shirt, gloves and a balaclava. He was armed with a firearm. The lone male was observed leaving the Theodore Credit Union in the following vehicle:

A mid 1980's to early 1990's style, blue GMC/Chevrolet regular cab pick up truck. It is described as clean on the front with a dirty rear tailgate area. On the tailgate the word "footlong" was written in the dirt.
