There's a price for making Canadians unhappy

To the Editor:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Mr. Garry Breitkreuz are in a lot of hot water. If I were them I would keep the gun registry and continue with the Canadian Wheat Board with more staff being hired to supervise what's happening. They should keep a watchful eye on native spending and make sure money being given by the government is used properly. They need to decrease the price of fuel, prevent gas gouging, lower food costs and lower the cost of housing.

The gun registry helps to solve crimes. Prime Minister Harper will be embarrassed, disrespected and knocked down if farmers don't have enough marketing skills to sell their grain or if other grain companies from private sectors attempt to control and dictate the marketing, pricing and transportation costs. Prime Minister Harper will be taking blood pressure pills.

Defense Minister Peter MacKay must pay back the $40,000 he stole from Canadian taxpayers. He should apologize to parliament and be punished for lying and making Canadians look like fools. He should also spend two weeks in northern Ontario watching how the Cree Native people struggle with no food for their families, no heat, no running water and overcrowded, filthy homes. People are living in tents and freezing to death, maybe that will make him think twice before abusing Canadian taxpayer money.

The Prime Minister thinks he is still going to have a job in 12 years because he has a majority government and he can do whatever he pleases but he can't take away the right to vote. The people have the final say on who they are going to vote for. If another mass murder happens, if private grain marketing fails and the cost of living goes so high that the people become furious, they will demand another election. Mr. Breitkreuz and Mr. Prime Minister, you may as well draw up another resume for the Canadian people are not satisfied with your performance.
